Accessibility Policy

Drugs and Alcohol Policy
At Grizz-Con, we are committed to creating a safe, family-friendly, and inclusive environment for all attendees, staff, and vendors. In accordance with our values and venue policies, the following rules apply to the possession, use, and promotion of drugs and alcohol:
1. Venue Regulations
Grizz-Con takes place in a "breath easy" and "dry" venue, meaning:
Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited within the venue and surrounding property.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises under any circumstances.
2. Prohibited Substances
The use, possession, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly forbidden.
This policy also extends to any drug paraphernalia or items promoting drug use.
3. Prescription and Medical Use
Attendees requiring prescription medication must keep it in its original container with a matching prescription label.

4. Enforcement
Any individual found violating this policy will:

Vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors are strictly prohibited from selling, promoting, or distributing any drugs, alcohol, or related paraphernalia.
6. Compliance and Accountability

Harassment Policy
Grizz-Con is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone. Harassment in any form is not tolerated and will result in immediate action.
Definition of Harassment
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

Consequences for Harassment
Grizz-Con enforces a zero-tolerance policy, meaning all harassment reports will be taken seriously. Depending on the severity of the incident, the following actions may be taken:
1. Verbal Warning: For minor, first-time offenses.
2. Removal from the Event: Attendees may be escorted off the premises without refund.
3. Ban from Future Events: Severe or repeated offenses may result in a permanent ban from Grizz-Con.
4. Involvement of Authorities: Illegal activities or serious incidents will be referred to local law enforcement.
Escalation Protocols
All reports will be logged, and an investigation will be conducted by the Event Security Coordinator and designated staff.
If the incident involves staff or volunteers, they may be immediately relieved of duties pending investigation.
Victims will be supported throughout the process, including assistance with contacting law enforcement if needed.
Attendee Expectations
Treat everyone with respect and dignity.
Follow all instructions from Grizz-Con staff and Security.
Comply with venue and local laws.

Photography and Media Policy
This policy is designed to ensure that all attendees, staff, and media representatives have a clear understanding of how photography and media activities are conducted during Grizz-Con while respecting the rights and privacy of all participants.
1. General Photography Guidelines:
Photography and videography are permitted in most public areas of the event unless otherwise posted.
Always respect attendees, vendors, artists, and guests. Obtain consent before taking close-up or individual photos or videos.
Flash photography may be restricted in certain areas or during specific panels or performances. Please follow posted signs and staff instructions.
2. Media and Press Guidelines:
Media representatives must register with Grizz-Con and obtain a Media Pass prior to engaging in any official coverage.
Interviews with guests, staff, or attendees must be arranged through the Grizz-Con Media Relations team.
Grizz-Con reserves the right to limit or revoke media access for those not adhering to this policy.
3. Cosplay Photography:
Always ask for permission before photographing or filming cosplayers. Respect their wishes if they decline.
Do not interrupt panels, events, or staged performances to take photos unless explicitly permitted.
Cosplayers should be credited where applicable in media or social posts when sharing their photos.
4. Commercial and Professional Photography:
Commercial photography (for profit or promotional purposes) is prohibited without prior approval from Grizz-Con management.
Professional photographers offering on-site photoshoots must register as vendors.
5. Prohibited Activities:
Unauthorized photography or filming in restricted areas (e.g., backstage, staff rooms, or private events).
Using drones or other aerial devices without explicit prior approval.
Harassment or invasive photography, including stalking attendees for pictures or taking photos without consent.
6. Rights and Releases:
By attending Grizz-Con, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes by official event photographers or videographers.
Grizz-Con retains the rights to all official media captured during the event for use in promotional materials, social media, and advertisements.
7. Reporting Issues:
If you feel uncomfortable or have concerns about inappropriate photography or media activities, report the incident to Grizz-Con staff or security immediately.

Ticket and Refund Policy
1. Ticket Purchases
All ticket sales for Grizz-Con are final.
Tickets must be purchased through the official Grizz-Con website or designated sales channels to be valid.
A valid ticket grants entry to Grizz-Con on the specified dates. Tickets must be presented (digital or printed) at check-in for admission.
2. Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another individual if you are unable to attend.
To transfer your ticket, please contact us at [Grizzcon.ggc@gmail.com] at least 7 days before the event with the new attendee’s name and email address.
The original purchaser remains responsible for any issues related to the ticket until the transfer is completed.
3. Refund Policy
No Refunds: Grizz-Con maintains a strict no-refund policy, except in the event of the convention being canceled by the organizers.
Special Circumstances: Requests for refunds due to medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required. Contact [Grizzcon.ggc@gmail.com] for inquiries.
If the event is postponed, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. Refunds will not be issued for postponements.
4. Canceled Event
If Grizz-Con is canceled, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund or the option to roll their ticket over to the next scheduled event.
Refunds for canceled events will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation announcement.
5. Lost or Stolen Tickets
Lost or stolen tickets will not be reissued. Please keep your tickets secure and avoid sharing digital ticket QR codes publicly.
6. Code of Conduct
Attendees must abide by the Grizz-Con Code of Conduct. Violations may result in removal from the event without a refund.

Weapons Policy
The safety and enjoyment of all attendees, staff, and vendors is our top priority at Grizz-Con. To maintain a secure environment, we have established the following weapons policy:
Prohibited Items
Firearms: No real firearms, including but not limited to concealed or openly carried firearms, are permitted on the premises under any circumstances.
Live Ammunition: The possession of live ammunition is strictly prohibited.
Explosives: No explosives, fireworks, or other hazardous materials are allowed.
Sharp Weapons: Real knives, swords, or any other sharp-edged weapons capable of causing harm are prohibited.
Permitted Prop Weapons
Prop weapons are allowed for cosplay purposes, but they must comply with the following requirements:
1. Appearance: Prop weapons must clearly appear as fake and cannot resemble functioning firearms or weapons.
2. Construction Materials: Props must be made from lightweight and non-dangerous materials, such as foam, plastic, or cardboard.
3. Peace Bonding: All prop weapons must be inspected and peace-bonded by Grizz-Con staff upon entry.
4. Size Restrictions: Oversized props that could obstruct walkways or pose safety hazards may be restricted at the discretion of staff.
Enforcement
Any attendee found in possession of prohibited items will be asked to remove the item from the premises immediately. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
Grizz-Con reserves the right to inspect any prop weapon or accessory at any time during the event.
Additional Notes
Local law enforcement or hired security personnel will be present to enforce this policy.
Exceptions to this policy, such as for law enforcement or other authorized personnel, must be pre-approved by Grizz-Con management.
